Meet the Artist
Never thought to channel my creative side into a service until I started face painting at markets and saw the joy it brought to the children I painted. So I decided to make a career out of making children, and parents, smile.
The better the designs, the bigger the smiles. And so I went to learn how to face paint processionally.

My Story
It all started on 17 November 2019, the day I was asked to face paint a little boy.
I was a volunteer at a Sunday BBQ and one of the other volunteers asked me for help. A little boy desperately wanted to get his face painted. He looked at me so hopeful, how could I say no? Never having picked up a paint brush, I yet asked him what he would like. His response: "A T-Rex!" So I got to work. Copying an outline design of a picture of a T-Rex. About 20 minutes later, with all but 3 colours available, I finished it. The boy?....he was beaming from ear to ear.
Packing up my things I realised there was someone behind me. I turned around to find 4 more kids waiting in line for their design! And so I created designs for the next requests: a bunny, a rainbow, a rabbit and a cat on their smiley faces.
The thank you's I received after showing them their designs, I will never forget.
Then, a hopeful look, .... "next week can I be a butterfly?"
And so the face painter in me was born.
